Rafael Goldzweig was a Research Associate to the Dahrendorf Forum at the Hertie School of Governance from October 2017 until December 2018. Prior to this, he worked as the Dahrendorf Assistant at the Hertie School. He was involved in establishing the European Governance Monitor (EGM), a project within the Dahrendorf Forum, where he worked on data analysis and visualization. Rafael’s research interests lie at the intersection of technology and politics, focusing specifically on populism, new media, and elections. He was a Google Policy Fellow and a DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme Scholar. Prior to joining the Hertie School, he worked for two years as a political consultant dealing with projects in the IT and Health sectors. Rafael holds a BA in International Affairs and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the Hertie School of Governance.
